Growing up without my father was tough. He passed away when I was three weeks old. I was raised by my single widowed mother, I have two sisters and one brother of which I am the youngest.
My mom always made sure we attended church every Sunday. I became a born again believer at the age of understanding, in my case I was only 8 years old. I might not have been a lost sinner but I heard our Sunday school teacher speaking about what Jesus did for us at the cross of calvary. I responded by giving my heart to Jesus as they would call it.
I will always be grateful to my precious mother who did the best she could to provide for us, financially, emotionally and spiritually. However rejection played a major part in my life as a young born again child of God. Many times I felt like I just wasn’t good enough for anyone.
Through the unconditional love of my heavenly father, He has turned my Ashes into beauty. He has changed the shy and rejected little girl I once was into a confident and strong women of God, for that I will be eternally grateful.
My vision for this blog is to inspire, encourage and motivate people. I have been an introvert most of my life and through the years God has helped me in many ways to break out of my shell and to show the world who I am. That my voice matters too.
The best way for me to make myself heard is through writing!
